Spellbinders Large Die of the Month

Happy April Stamping Friends!

The April Large Die of the Month for Spellbinders is called Universal Curved Border Set and is a super fun set of border shapes for regular cards and slimline.

You can mix and match these to make strips as I did on the purple and white card below or use as a border. You can also layer them!

I used the floral edge on this one and colored them with Copic markers.  The set also has some stand alone flowers and leaves dies that match up with the flowers and leaves on the border.  I layered a few over this border.

The April Clear Stamp of the Month is called Around The Bend and coordinates with the borders.  I used one of the flower petal stamps to random stamp the background.

I really love this die, I will be using this one again!

For this card, I cut a strip with the dies and placed it on top of the card.  The Clear Stamp of The Month has flowers for this line of branches, so I stamped them in light and medium shades of purple.  I cut an extra border in shiny mirror silver paper and tucked it underneath.  

The bottom of the card is the new Plaid Company Embossing Folder.
