February Stamp Clubs

These are the projects we are making at this month's stamp clubs.

Valentine Candies

Oh my gosh - are these not the cutest things ever???  Sometimes I get so excited with myself.  I love little things, I love making and receiving little things...so FUN!

Do you want to know how I made them so tiny?

 1.  Start by filling the 1 x 8 Cello Bags with candy.  These are Sixlets and I used 5 for each candy.  Make a 'shooter' from cardstock to get the candy into the bag more efficiently.  My dog was so happy I missed so often!

2.  Separate the candy to both ends of the bag.  

3.  Tie each end with ribbon and insert tag.

4.  Cut the ends apart.  Trim the flap section and cut open the bottom section.  Fluff both new ends!

Valentine Jars

I'm so happy the Perfectly Preserved stamp set and matching Cannery Framelits are still available.  They were in the Holiday Catalog that was discontinued but are on the carry over list.  Yay!!!   Some stamp sets I'm SO done playing with when the catalog ends and some, like this one, I am not!

They make perfect little Valentine jar cards!

I was going to make an envelope for them on the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate, but decided to put them in cello bags instead.  As luck would have it, they fit perfectly in the Wilton Pretzel bags!

Insert in the bag and tie with ribbon them cut a LOT of excess bag off.

One of my favorite sets besides Oh Hello in the Spring Catalog is  You Rule.  You saw the Leadership gifts I made with it, right?  This is one of the swaps I received from Jennifer Thomas.  I love the simplicity, the embossing at the bottom and of course the colors.

Beautiful Banner

At Leadership Shelli showed a beautiful banner that she made.  Kim and I (and lots and lots of other people *Ü*) fell in love with it!  She went home and whipped out a couple of them and look what appeared in my mailbox.

Lucky me!

It's so pretty on my fireplace!  

Basic Technique Class

Tonight (Wednesday) is my Basic Stamping Techniques class for Boise Community Education.  

 I chose three basic techniques to teach.

Totally and completely inspired by Yvette Ashe from our last Control Freaks swap, this card has heat embossing, ink inside an embossing folder and using markers to ink the stamp.

I'm back with another Team Tuesday feature...

Today I'd like to introduce you to Patricia Emerick of Fayetteville, AR.  Patricia has been a demonstrator for about 15 months and she made this card for her upline Ruthie Graen.  It's stamped on the card then stamped again and cut out so the wing looks like it is floating on top.

 Another card idea using the Oh Hello stamp set.  Don't get sick of it yet, I have LOTS to show you with this one!  This one inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.  I loved how she used the Honeycomb Embossing Folder and cut out the combs for the ribbon. *Ü* 

 There was no name on it nor watermark, so if that was your idea, thank you for sharing!
