ReplyDeleteI have some box latches I bought from Hobby Lobby in the craft section where the hardware for the wood stuff. They look like swing latches. Hope you find ne somewhere. Maybe you local hardware store may have some. Good Luck nd cannot wait for the tutorial. You have such awesome projects. I just started as a demonstrator and you are an inspiration.

ReplyDeleteFor the latch for the briefcase~try Lowes or Home Depot. They should have them in their latches section-in different sizes and weights.

Darling project and "thank you" for the tutorial. The suitcase on the font of the mini is from Roberts Crafts. They just changed out the handles. Roberts has some latches in with their hardware stuff.

ReplyDeleteskybluepink.com has tons of great hardware at great prices. Click on Products, then Hardware, then scroll down and you'll see all the closure things. I've bought hinges and stuff to make coaster frames from them. Fast shipping from what I remember.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if this is useful or not but Sizzix makes a Bigz die called hinges. Probably better for "looks" vs usefulness.....but just a thought. I have the die and could punch some out if need be.
