OK folks, gotta do a little bragging for a minute on my Benjamin. He is 13 years old and a fan of Duff on Ace of Cakes. He decided he was going to make cakes this summer and enrolled in Course 1 of the Wilton cake decorating class. Now he has completed Course 2 and take a look at this!!! Did you get that part about him being 13 years old??? I'm so proud!
Learning the basket weave.
Putting leaves between all his beautiful Royal Icing flowers.
Isn't that beautiful? Too bad I can't frame the cake ...oh ya, but I CAN scrapbook it with My Digital Studio which is available October 1st.

Way to go Benjamin! I've taken those classes, and I think his cake turned out better than mine did.... something wrong in my brain that I can't draw (or pipe icing) in a straight line, so my basketweave was VERY interesting.
