I'm so sorry to have to tell you that the release of this tutorial will be delayed by one day. We've been on vacation all last week, getting in late Monday night and had great intentions of getting it all done...but we were having a little too much fun!
Please join me Thursday, July 1st for the release of the Tres Chic Handbags tutorial!
________
This is one of the reasons for the delay. While on our way to San Francisco, we stopped in Roseville (where we used to live) to visit as any friends we could in a short amount of time and I held a downline meeting for my California girls. I was so happy to see everyone and man, did we ever have a fun evening!
This project can be found here. I used the new Greenhouse Gala DSP to make each one a little gift and used the matching DSP for their project. We made one of the purses in the new Tres Chic Handbags tutorial. Super easy!!! We made these in less than an hour and that was with sharing all the supplies!
We stamped in the breakfast area of the lobby and man, did we ever draw a crowd. It was a great opportunity to pick up some customers! Ü

ReplyDeleteWow, Becky, those note pads sure are cute! Thanks for the link to the project - I've got it bookmarked for further use!
ReplyDeleteThese notepads are absolutely adorable...TFS! I'm curious though, where do you get your notepads? Are they already that size or do you have to cut them down? And for my final question, if you have to cut them down, what trimmer do you use? Thank you for the inspiration, Becky - you are incredibly creative & talented!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteNext time you're in Roseville, let me know . . .would love to meet you in person! Janice Rosenthal Rock

Britiney asked "...they used a circle punch to notch the top of the middle section on the back. I wasn't sure what the purpose of that was."
ReplyDeleteThe middle section that is notched is an extra section that creates a pocket for storing important papers, such as a small calender, receipts, appointment cards or anything else you can think of.
