Mocha Morning Purse

This is the second of the two purses I made last month using the beautiful Mocha Morning Specialty Designer Series Paper.

This is the time of year I go into panic mode with all my Designer Series Papers. I hoard them all year long and don't use much because then they will be gone (don't tell me YOU don't understnad that!!). Then I hurry to use them all up before they discontinue!! This year the new catalog is coming one month earlier, in June instead of July, so I'm really using up the paper! Come on new stuff!!

Here is a close up of the flower. I used muslin fabric and the Scallop Circles die cut. The Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon is gathered and glued on top with a Basic Black Glimmer Brad.

If you would like to make this little gift card size purse, the pattern and instructions are available in the 12 Days of Christmas 2011 tutorial on the right hand side bar or the tutorials page of this blog.

  3. I agree with too cool stamping, you do make the most fabulous purses! Cards, and projects too! We do value our papers as if they were works of art and too precious to cut into, but new ones are on the way!
    Thanks for this beautiful post!
