Perfectly Preserved Gift Cards

Before you fall in love with these, let me warn you that Stampin' Up! clearly states that you should only cut through one layer of cardstock with the Framelits.  But I did it on Very Vanilla cardstock and it worked with my Framelits and my Big Shot.  Play at your own risk!

These were little gift tags I packaged for my downline and friends attending the Tacoma Regionals last month.  We had so much fun!!

  1. I've also successfully cut through two layers, but I only do it with the white and vanilla c/s. How did you make these cute tags? Did you do the whole jar on a fold or did you attach the jar lid after, front to back, to make it connected and to fold? Stumped!

  3. I too, often attempt to push my equipment to it's limit! LOL! (Especially when mass producing items.) I think two sheets might be fine for a larger, simple shape like this. Thank you for yet another adorable project!

  4. Cute little tags, these are adorable!! I need to buy some Kerr jars and put something in it so I can use some tags like this! :)

  5. I love your little jar tags, and love this stamp set. The very first thing I made when I got my hands on it was a jar with little nuggets in it, which spread like wildfire once I posted it on my blog and Stampin Connection.
This is my first visit to your blog, I found you on Blog Finds of the Day. I have spent o ver an hour viewing your blog archives, all the way back to Nov 2010 with the story from the 10000 recruit!! OMG! You have wonderful, inventive ideas, and truly inspired me. You were just what I needed today to get me out of my slump. Thank you, my friend.

  7. Here's how...Fold the cardstock in half, stamp the image close to the top of the fold. Place the Framelit over the image with the top above the score line so it does not get cut. Then you have a folding card.
