Mason Jar Money From Santa

I saw this idea on Pinterest and thought it would be fun for the boys...since they are big now and really just want money of their own.

I decorated mason jars with their names and Santa's List.

I attached the Santa to the lid with a Stampin' Dimensional then decorated the ring with ribbon and stuff.  On Pinterest they put a toilet paper roll in the center of the jar, but I rolled up black cardstock for mine.  Put the money in the tube and filled the outside of the jar with M&M's.

I can't wait to see their faces when they think they are getting a jar of M&M's...but they are smarter than that.  They will KNOW I'm up to something. *Ü*

Be sure to check the Clearance Rack on Friday, they are adding lots of new stuff!

For the month of December, with any $35 or more order to my online store, I'll send you the tutorial for these Holiday Handbags.

  2. I, too, saw this clever idea on Pinterest. I actually used an oval Crystal Light container, filled with M & M's and then inserted a wrapped gift card (plastic wrap) into the middle of the candy. Decorated the outside with stamped ornaments (punched out) with ribbons coming from the top and bows on the ornaments. My grandson was so surprised when he opened the container and started eating the candy and noticed his present hidden in the middle.
Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!
