Pumpkin Baseball With a Orange Twist!

Our yearly traditional pumpkin baseball game was slightly delayed this year as we waited for Benjamin to get home for Thanksgiving break.  Unfortunately with the early freeze this year we discovered that all our pumpkins were rotten...so quick thinking dad went to the store and bought a bag of oranges.  After all, the show must go on!

First up was Nicholas.  He blew that first one to smithereens!

Next up was Benjamin...this is when we discovered that oranges probably weren't the best idea as he juiced that thing mid-air!

Dad has to explain to Sarah that he knows these are not pumpkins.

And Eric, he just thinks we are all nuts as he stays a safe distance from all the juice and splatter!

A few more fabulous splats!  If you click on the picture you can see the impressive mess even closer. *Ü*

The face says it all!  LOL!

Another fun year of pumpkin baseball with an orange twist!

  1. I always look forward to Pumpkin (orange) Baseball season! So much fun! I wish we'd done something like this with our boys, it would have been a blast! We had an unlimited supply of grapefruit in our yard, what a mess those would have made! ha ha ha!
