Cake and Cupcake Home Decor Pieces.

If you have followed me for any length of time, you know when I get a stamp set and I literally use it to death!  I will show you as many ways possible to use something I love and this set from Honey Bee Stamps is one I LOVE!

This time, I am making a couple of small decor pieces for tiered trays and/or cubby shelves.

The 6" x 6" letterboard is one from a set of three found HERE.  I use these in my tiered tray all the time!

I started with a 4-1/2" circle die.  I cut a piece of chipboard and gray cardstock and adhered them together.  Then I cut white cardstock strips and adhered them on top leaving a gap between each one.  I turned it over and trimmed what was hanging off.

The rest is just like cardmaking, I colored and cut the cake and pedestal and adhered them on the front with foam tape.

A Piece of Cake Honey Cuts (dies) and Stamp Set

This one is exactly the same except I just cut a rectangle and did not use a die. I cut it in chipboard, then gray cardstock and then laid the strips on top.
I stamped, colored and cut out the cupcake and adhered it to the front with foam tape.
These two yellow ones were for my bff in Montana for her lemon decor tiered tray.  I may have to make myself some chocolate and pink ones for my tiered tray.

Wondering about that cardstock easel?  It is one of my fav Concord & 9th products.
