Tulip Stand for Reverse Confetti Inspiration Station

Today I am doing an Inspiration Station post for the Reverse Confetti newsletter.  We're continuing to celebrate their birthday month even though the actual celebration has been pushed to next month (so there will be more celebrations to come!).

My Inspiration Photo came from Pinterest.  I love the neutral farm style feel of the photo and really wanted to see if I could create the look of the wall.  I used the Tulips set to add some color and a birthday greeting to the card.

I started by creating the look of the wall slats.  I wiped the Lead Ink Pad across white cardstock a few times to create the lines.

I then ran it through the Vertical Stripes Cover Panel and that is how I got the strips.
I cut a piece of Lead cardstock in a rectangle and glued the strips to it.  I added two tall strips for the sides of the stand.

For the awning, I did the same thing, I started with a rectangle and glued strips of the inked panel and the Lead cardstock to it.  I added a couple score lines to the top where it attaches to the card and corner rounded the front two corners.

Before I started gluing pieced down, I did a rather simple ink blending on the white cardstock panel using Piggy Bank and Pistachio ink.
I stamped, colored and cut several buckets and a lot of tulip bunches and placed them around the tulip stand.  All of those images are colored with Copic Markers.

I decided to hang the birthday greeting from the awning like so many farm style stands have AND I love the way this inspiration piece turned out!
