Cupcake Box and Faux Cupcakes

Christmas shopping for my BFF is hard - that girl has everything!  This year I decided to get her cupcakes for her tiered tray from my friend Mae at My Faux Sweets. She makes the MOST amazing faux sweet things.

Don't they look real?  She does great work!
To package them, I made a cupcake box with transparent lid.
The box is similar to my cupcake box in my 12 Days of Christmas 2010, I just had to make it taller to accommodate the height of the cupcakes.

She received it yesterday and I made her open it so I could post about it today...she LOVED it!

I used a piece of transparency paper for the lid.

Here is a close up of the tag.  You should know by now how much I love a layered tag! *Ü*

I started with the largest of the two Embroidery Hoop Dies.
I stamped the trees from the Oh Christmas Tree Stamp Set and colored with Copic markers.
The stars are made using the Stacking Star Dies
I made the tassel from embroidery floss and then added a jingle bell to the tie on.

The smallest star on top is a shaker.  I cut transparency paper and put it between two stars. I wedged a couple shaker beads and sequins in there.  It's about 1" wide and actually shakes!!
