Honey Bee Stamps Modern Spring Sneak Peek Day 3

Welcome back for Day 3 of the Honey Bee Stamps new release.
Today is full of pretty florals, new greeneries and a brand new crate die.
Oh how I love today's new sets!!!

Starting off with a brand new floral,  Lovely Layers: Tulips Dies and a super cute Wooden Crate Die, sized perfectly for the front of any card.

The tulip set has a beautiful open tulip, what I call a 'regular' tulip and a bud tulip, plus the stems and greenery layers.  It is easy to layer and create without much thought...and believe me, I've worked with some pretty complicated flowers!

This bouquet is in the new wooden crate die.  I love all thing crate, but I really love the size and angle of this one and can think of a lot of uses for this one.  You could pop literally anything in here, from little animals, to lottery tickets and of course flowers.

The background on this card is the Garden Lattice Top and Base Cover Plates.

This tulip card showcases the brand new Secret Garden Cover Plate Die.  Another really pretty Honey Bee Stamps Cover Plate

I really love this new greenery set, Lovely Layers: Greenery Dies.
I've been waiting for this to go with all the beautiful Honey Bee floral dies.

I've also use the Spring Leaves Cover Plate Die on the background with the Scallop A2 Card Frame Dies and the Bitty Buzzwords: Bloom Stamps and Dies.

One last floral set to show you today and its a cute little thing!

Whimsical Flower Dies is a smaller set with layering pieces to create smaller bouquets.
I've used the pitcher from the Country Lavender set here along with the Spring Leaves Cover Plate Die  and the Scallop A2 Card Frame Dies

Tomorrow morning is the last sneak peek and then it all goes live tomorrow night.
If you have enjoyed the sneak peeks I've shown you, please consider coming back here to order through my links.

Honey Bee Stamps Modern Spring Sneak Peek Day 2

Welcome back for Day 2 of the Honey Bee Stamps new release.
Today I have pretty lavender and friendship ladders to show you.  Yes, ladders...come see!

There is a brand new Country Lavender set and I have one card to show you.  The others will be coming in future posts.

I have two purples and a blue behind this bundle of lavender and look at that pretty background!  There is the brand new cover plate coming in this release.  This set also has beautiful cotton blossoms that go with the lavender.

Next up is a really fun ladder set that includes all the little things for decorating.  I LOVE this set as so many of these little items I actually own in real life decor!
I adhered some of the decor to the cardstock and some on foam tape.  The ladder is popped up on foam tape.

Here is another one with a different layout and a close up of that beautiful Spring Leaves Coverplate in the background.

See you tomorrow for sneak peek Day 3!

Honey Bee Stamps Modern Spring Sneak Peek Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the brand new Honey Bee Stamps spring line up.
There are so many pretty things coming your way, you're going to love it!

For the next four days, I will be showing you previews of what's to come, but the links will not be live (existing products will be linked though).  I will go back through each post on the evening of the 20th and add them right before they go live.  Remember, that happens after the reveal on Instagram.  I will post the time later in the previews.

These little mice should make you smile!  The flower pot is blank, and I added the flowers to it with a little masking and the smallest daisy stamp.  I've used the Scallop A2 Card Frame Dies here with the Grass Border Die.

Bitty Buzzwords: Bloom Stamps and Dies

I've used three different size tags from the Tag Builder Dies on this card and the mouse carrying the flower pot from Sweet Spring Mice Stamps and Dies.  The background is my favorite Whimsical Hearts Stencil

Remember the Market Cart Die and how fun that was?  Well now there is even more fun with new florals, lemons, roof and counter choices, lights, new signs and a banner.
I love it when add-on sets are released for existing products!

This pretty pink cart had fancy lights on it and soft spring flowers.
The sentiment on the roof is from a new set called Squeeze The Day Stamps and Dies.
The background is Fluttering Hearts Cover Plate, which is the same hearts as the stencil and I've used a scallop die from the Scallop A2 Card Frame Dies.

See you tomorrow for Day 2!

Are You Receiving Two Mailings For Inking Idaho? Here's Why!

I'm sorry you've been receiving blog posts in two different emails each time I post.  I'm working on fixing it.
It's a bit of a story, but the bottom line is I am sick and tired of Mailchimp raising my monthly fees, so I moved my mailing list to Feedblitz.

I went through all the steps to close my account with Mailchimp...but they won't close it as it was started with my old email address years ago...and they want me to contact the owner of that email address and have them close the account.
So hang with me while I prove to them that was me!

Again, I am so sorry. I know how irritating it is to receive the duplicate, I'm getting them too.

Into The Blooms Roses - The Two Day Card!

I tried something new with this one.  I've done it before but on much smaller scale.

I colored the cardstock with Distress Oxide inks, sprinkled them with water and let them dry.  Then I splattered them ever so lightly with black and white paint and let them dry before I die cut the roses and leaves with.
We will call this one a two-day card! 😀

I used Dusty Concord and Shaded Lilac of the flowers.  The berries are Fossilized Amber and the leaves are Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks.

Into The Blooms: Roses

The background is stenciled with the Dot Stencil, sprinkled with water and blotted.  It kind of ran and faded out and looked cool.

Picket Fence Studios Guest Designer

I'm a guest artist for Picket Fence Studios this month with these cute Easter images?  I
 loved coloring all of these.
Today is their February Release and they're introducing a new full front shaker card and that was really cool to play with.  I will be making more of those!

This first card is made with the Eggs-tra Special Easter Stamps and Dies.  I colored the images with Copic markers and embossed the sentiment with White Embossing Powder.  I placed the nest on a doily, the background is ink blended with Distress Oxide Inks and sprinkled with water.

Eggs-tra Special Easter Stamps and Dies

I LOVE coloring these eggs.  I'll be coloring more for another project to two. I stenciled the background with the Daisy Burst Stencil.
I only have a few stencils and this one is in my top rotation pile!
The background is lightly splattered with black paint. In case you want to know, I get out a big box and splatter 20-25 card fronts at a time so I can have them dry and on hand when I need a splattered one.

Eggs-tra Special Easter Stamps and Dies

This is the new full front shaker card.  I made the card with the Eastertime Stamps and Dies.  I used Distress Oxide inks to stamp them and stamped and cut an extra bunny of the outside of the card.  I picked through the sequin mix to get the colors that matched the bunnies.  There are new Easter and spring sequin mixes this month that are super cute!
I cut the shaker card front with clear window sheet.

Wax Seal Week With Honey Bee Stamps

Have you ever made your own wax seals?
This was a first for me, and it was pretty fun, I must say!
Honey Bee Stamps carries a full line of wax melts and accessories and this week you will be seeing quite a bit of inspiration on social media as the design team highlights the many ways to use wax seals.

I've used mine on two envelopes from the Playful Pastels Envelope Pack.
This first envelope has light gray flowers on it so I chose a silver seal.  I used a bit of black satin ribbon and a few foliage dies cuts behind it.
This probably wouldn't be for mailing, but would be really pretty with a hand delivered gift.

The gold and silver melts are in a mix called Honeycomb Wax Melts: All That Glitters.
I melted three of the little honeycomb shapes in the Melting Spoon with my Embossing Heat Tool and poured the melted wax onto a silicone mat.  I gently set the stamp in the hot wax with no pressure, just let it spread on its' own, therefore achieving a more perfect circle.

I got 3-4 that were pretty perfect and several that were not.  It's hot wax and unpredictable, but for my first time, it wasn't too bad.

Next up is a white seal from the Honeycomb Wax Melts: Tuxedo.
These are a black and white mix and I thought would look great on this light pink ombre envelope.
I added a tuft of pink glittery tulle and a couple leaves under this wax seal.

This would be really cool with a tulle rosette under it...lots of ideas came to me after I finished these so I may do it again.

That little blip on the edge is my finger mark where I was testing to see if it was done yet. 😟
