Fun Flowers Magazine Holder

Have you tried this technique yet? It was showcased in our Stampin' Success magazine this month. Stampin' Success is a monthly publication Stampin' Up! put out for all demonstrators. Very cool magazine!!
I'm not sure what the actual technique is called, but to achieve it you emboss the back side of your cardstock with one of our Embossing Folders and the Big Shot. Turn it over and then stamp on top of the front side, the debossed side. I used the En Francais background stamp.

It's quite pretty in real life! For this set, I used the new Fun Flowers die-cut which I am in with!! I just keep making cards with it because the flowers are so pretty, and each one is going to cost me more postage to mail...sigh...but they are SO pretty!!I packaged them up in a Magazine Holder complete with envelopes. If you would like to make a Magazine Holder, the pattern can be found in the Designer Desk Set tutorial, HERE.
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, Love Letter Designer Series Paper

Stamp Set: Kind Thanks, En Francais

Accessories: Fun flowers die-cut, Elegant Lines Embossing Folder and the Big Shot, baby!, Modern Label punch

  7. Fabulous creations!! I wish I could be one of your SU! Demonstrators...

  8. This is a really cute idea Becky! Maybe this is a dumb question, but when you stamp on the cardstock after embossing, does it squash the embossing at all? I'm wondering if it would be easier to stamp before embossing, does that work? Thanks for all the inspiration!
