Petal Cone Carrots

I am continuing to play with the new Petal cone die-cut from the Occasions Mini catalog and I thought why not make something for Easter. I made a couple baskets which I will show you later in the week, but I thought it would make a cute carrot pouch also!

I started with baggies of chocolate covered raisins and then found these tiny chocolate bunnies and they fit perfectly inside the opening.

I love the pom pom trim in the new mini catalog!! You can so some really fun things with it.

Cardstock: Tangerine Tango, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Whisper White
Stamp Set: Food Egg
Accessories: 1" Circle, Scallop Circle, Tangerine Tango Pom Pom Trim, Petal cone die-cut & the Big Shot baby!

  5. I think I will have break down too (like Lorri's comment) and get this die. This is just the cutest little treat! I laughed about the chocolate raisins as rabbit droppings - thank goodness your found little chocolate bunnies to fit instead! Just too cute! Even the pom poms looks great and I am not a fan of them! Love your blog and your projects - so much fun and creativity there! Thanks for sharing.

  9. I was wondering what kind of adhesive you used to stick the pom pom's to the scallop circle? I hope you don't mind sharing. Thanks!

  10. Tristan, I use Sticky Strip to stick the pom poms. Works great!

  13. This project is adorable!! I have a question about what size chocolate bunny you used. I found a 1 oz. bunny in a box by Palmer @ Walgreens that looks just like the one you used. I had trouble getting it to fit inside the opening and the edges tore. Is that the size you used and, if so, did you have any trouble getting it to fit? THANKS!

  14. Hi Joanne,
That is the same chocolate bunny I found also. I have 5 of them, and 4 fit perfectly and one is too big and split the side. Pretty inconsistant on their 1 oz. bunnies!
