View Master Card

Remember the old View Masters? I still have mine! I pulled it out to show the kids and they were mildly impressed. Of course, I had my Barbie View Master in there which certainly did not catch their attention. They couldn't believe we had to manually move the lever up and down to change the picture...'where is the clicker on this mom'? I think the conversation ended in 'I'm glad I wasn't a kid in the olden days'. Makes me anxious to show them my AM/FM transistor radio or my original handheld calculator...

When I saw this card on Dawn's blog, I knew I had to make it. My stamp clubs loved it! We used the Jolly Jingle Bits stamp set.

Dawn had a fantastic video on her blog, showing just how easy this is to create.

Cardstock: Marina Mist, Early Espresso, Whisper White
Stamp Set: Jolly Bingo Bits, Distressed Dots
Accessories: 1-1/4", 1-3/8" & 1-3/4" Circle Punches, Big Shot, Circle die-cut (4"), Corner Rounder, Scallop Edge Punch, paper piercing tool & mat, Silver Brads, Letters to Santa DSP, Whisper White Satin Ribbon

  1. What?! You have to move the wheel manually?! JK, I love it! I had a view master too. Wish I had it now!
Love the card, will have to case it of course!

  2. That card is sooo adorable! Look forward to making one of those myself:)

  3. Hey Becky! Thanks for the shoutout! Your card is adorable!!
