Today I have a pretty home decor project I made with this Faux Eucalyptus Wreath from Target. I love making paper flowers and with spring on the horizon, I was itching to update some of my spring decor.
I started with the 16" Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia wreath.
I had magnolia leaves and olive branch picks that I added into the wreath for extra fullness and texture.
I cut and separated the magnolia leaves and olive branches.
I started by tucking everything out to see how it looked before actually wiring them to the wreath and trimming the stems.
Then I figured out how I wanted to arrange the flowers.
I hot glued a cardboard circle to the back of the flowers and added a piece of wire. That way I could remove the flowers if I needed to.
I wired it all together and then trimmed the ends of anything sticking out. Also, it is a good thing the back doesn't show, this is probably not how the professionals do it! *Ü*
I made the flowers with FSJ Whip Cream cardstock and a template I found free on Pinterest and modified to suit the size I needed. I still have my paper flower class available if you are interested in learning how to make the beautiful flowers below.
