Paper Flowers in a Cup!

Here's a fun gifty idea for you.
We have so many, many flower dies in the crafty world, how about making a floral arrangement in a cup!    It takes a little bit of effort but well worth it if you ask me...and I should know. *Ü*
Actually it takes longer to choose the color and cut the flowers than it does to make them and that is the truth.

I made this arrangement for my tiered tray.  I have lots of neutrals and blush pinks in my house, so that is what I chose for this one.  I made it to fit on any Rae Dunn cup.

The roses are hand cut from my own pattern.  The daisy is from the Sizzix die called Bundle of Flowers, This die has so many possibilities, it is one I use all the time!

The greenery is from my favorite Timeless Foliage steel rule die.  This is on sale right now on a serious markdown.  I'm not sure if it is going away or not.

The yellow flower with dark gray center is from Layered Blooms steel rule die.  This is a Spellbinders die, but they seem to be out of stock, so I linked it on Amazon.

I started with a circle made from chipboard sized a little bit larger than the cup.  I glued down some foliage  I angled the flowers and hot glued them holding until they were set in place.  Once all the flowers were on, I added a bit more greenery.  I cut the center out of styrofoam ball and glued it to the bottom so it would not slide off the cup.

What do you think?  Would you try this?  Tag me on Instagram if you do, I would love to see!

  1. I love HOW you made the topper. So many different florals out there, indeed.
